Excellent thanks Bill. That engine was an option? I like gas anything, especially uncommon.

Yes, as best as I can tell, it was a rare option. 427 CI inline 6 flat head engine.

And it's of Continental manufacture, not a Cat engine? Very cool (and rare - it would be interesting to know how many came out with that option). I bet it runs as smoothly as silk, especially being a six-cylinder. Decent cubic capacity too

Right now, it's running on 4 cylinders. I think there is a breach in the head gasket between the #5, and #6 cylinders. Even with that issue, it starts right up and runs smooth as glass.

Update on the Unicorn, she's up and running on all 6 cylinder, and runs great. Now I just have to rebuild the brake system so I can stop with out having to drop the big anchor in front.. I rebuilt the master cylinder to then discover a rusted out cross over line on the front axle. Time to replace brake lines and flush the system, then discover the condition of the slave cylinders.
