I looked at some of the same parts books on eBay. They look like they will be fairly easy and fast for me to scan. They will be a good addition to the library. If you mail them to me I will give them priority on my scan list. I will send you a PM with my info.

Letourneau dealer master catalog in two volums only 8 inch thick. Way too much to scan.

That's an understatement Brian! Besides by the look of pics the book bindings would be destroyed in the attempt! Thanks for showing them though.

Actually they are fancy huge binders with fabric belts and a ratchet that holds them together. But even apart would take a few lifetimes to scan.

You need to get a book edge scanner, that wat the book is only open to 90 deg and saves pulling the book apart

seiscat, I finally got them in the mail this morning. Of course I just found one of the Caterpillar Operators Handbook. The type that is like a comic book drawings but lots of good information (if you are not an OSHA inspector). Much of what it shows probably has cost lives in the past, but still very interesting. I can mail it later if you are too busy now. I looked in the library and did not see this operators handbook, but I am not good with computers, so maybe it is already there. Thank You for doing this.
