Hi, jabberwocki.
I don't know if the museum is open for visitirs. My understanding is that it was set up first and foremost as a storage facility for the machines with the possible aim of becoming a museum down the track. Also as I understand it, there has not been a whole lotta interest from within the company or Glen's family for the machines.
How-wevver, if you contact the office of Team Gillhotti in Petaluma, CA., and ask them nicely, you MAY possibly be given access to the facility.

Kenny Drew and the "Cat Night" group that usually meets up on Tuesday evenings? He would know for sure, as he convinced the heirs to allow them to place the choicest pieces inside the buildings, that is, after they had got them operational again. Who knows, maybe if you appear at one of their weekly gatherings, they might fire one up for old times sake. JM

Just so we are clear Mike, what are you saying that we are taking money for but can’t be produced?
what are you saying we promise but cannot be delivered?
Be specific!
if you are making such accusations, at least you should be clear on what you are accusing the club of and provide evidence to back those accusations up,

Ok I'll give them a call. I'm in Seattle but a road trip would not be out of the question.
Any other knowledgeable members I can harass ?

Hi, jabberwocki.
I suspect that there are a couple of other members who have 18A-19A D9s but just who they are I don't recall at the moment. I think there might be a couple of 34A owners as well.

being the largest of the old machines there isnt that many around in working preservation. compared to d8 and smaller models with d2,d4 and d6 models being very popular.
d2 are probably the most preserved as they were popular for agriculture use and they are small enough to cart on a decent car trailer.

The Magazine. The moderation of the site. When I joined it took several days just for You all to get my username and password working. I’m sure you remember that. When you seen the problems with getting the magazine out, you should not have taken money for it. You yourself told me I could read it online, sir I choose to have a paper copy. The entire working mechanism of this forum, compared to others just isn’t as good.

Hello, Mike Hudson.
As I think has been mentioned once or maybe twice before, this site is run ENTIRELY volunteers, MANY of whom also have other commitments, and so this izza 'spare time' job for them.
Also, as has been mentioned before, any genuine offers of help to make things run better would be much appreciated.
BUTTT, sitting on the sidelines sniping at the efforts of those who DO step up to try to keep the place running is NOT helpful.
You might also benefit from thinking a little about this OLD saying: "What you say or think about others 'ackshully' says more abut YOU than it does about them."

Mike, as a fellow Cat lover I hate to see you having so much angst and dissatisfaction over ACMOC and the website. Maybe this will help you out.
Give me your name and address and the amount you paid for the membership and I will send you that amount. That way you will not feel obligated to use ACMOC and the Forum in any way so you can begin posting on TikTok rather than ACMOC. Just a suggestion to help a fellow Cat lover.
