My D300C motor looks like I can rebuild it.
Where is best place to get good aftermarket parts?

I can’t find tag on it .
When I call about parts for it they want serial number.
I give them arrangement number .
That doesn’t help.
Where should I look for serial number?

left hand side of the engine towards the rear if your in the seat. sometimes the serial is stamped under the tag. also the machines often had a tag on the rear of the machine left hand side look for a spot where a pair of small rivets would have been.

all you need is a parts book for your machine so a parts book for d4d 83j serial range will be just perfect.
they want the serial number of the machine. d4d 83j740 is the serial number.
i had a bit of a play around on parts.cat and i found some parts for the engine.
if you have a parts book you can get parts you need a parts book anyway as even aftermarket stuff links back to manufacturer part numbers
