Farm, there aren't any vendors on here. You'll need to contact a dealer or spare parts place to get a quotation. You can start with Cat and then look at aftermarket vendors

if you contact your local dealer they can give you a itemised quote. but its really how long is a piece of string question(twice the distance from the middle to the end)
until its pulled down and everything is inspected to find what parts are serviceable, what needs repair and what needs replacement.
it might be as simple as clean up the crank and fit new bearings, liners piston rings, seals and gaskets. but it might need a new crank if its cracked or is beyond grinding range. it might need a block if it damaged and isnt repaireable. might need a head.

then either there not the damaged ones or its the big-ends that locked up but that has a bad habit of breaking rods which does allsorts of damage to the block. the only way is fully strip the engine and crack test it all. and thats either magnaflux or use dyecheck. then run a micrometer over the journals.
so you will need a engine spec sheet this info can be found in the service reference and the service book for the engine itself.
the easiest way is to take it to a engine rebuilder and get them to measure and check everything. they have all the tools.

I have rebuilt several diesel motors.
I’m starting to pull parts off it so I can put it on a engine stand.

if you've done it before and have the measuring tools then certainly have a go yourself. the link i posted has the specs for bearing and journal diameters.
cat doesnt have rebuild kits per se for these old girls so you buy the parts individually. if you can afford to get em in one hit and save on the freight cost.
once you have part numbers you can use
www.parts.cat.com to get availability and prices you can even order from your nearest dealer (you do need to register on the site first).
just note some of the older part numbers need a zero or 2 added to bring them to six characters for the system to find them in the database. so 4b654 would become 4b0654 for example.

I have a problem pulling the front motor mount off the engine it has 4 bolts the hold it to the frame.
A rubber ring inside a compression ring outside diameter is about 6 inches.
I can’t get it off. Does anyone know how to remove it?
