You're welcome Clayton. I don't know how much of an issue that disparity will be over time as the clutch plates wear down. But since opening up the steering is an annoying task on the D2, it might be worth trying to straighten the bent yoke or acquiring a replacement. It's the same part # 4B3873 on both sides so laying them flat on the table they should be identical. If you lay them so the ball and the adjuster screw ends are facing upwards, the one with the bigger bend upwards will be the one to replace/straighten. Unfortunately I don't have dimensions for you.

Hello Neil, well it’s pretty clear that I have a bent yoke after comparing the two. It’s not bent on the top portion of the yoke or the bottom socket it’s actually bent in the oval portion of the yoke. Here are some photos thank you for the assistance Clayton.

Boy it's really bent isn't it. I think it's cast steel Clayton so it might be able to be persuaded back to shape. I can only guess that someone wailed on it pretty hard to get it to bend like that. A good used one from Zimmerman probably isn't a whole lot of $ - they wouldn't move many of those parts and every parts D2 has two of them

That looks way better Clayton. Interesting that they're still not identical but it's probably close enough
