it would be a fiddly job. could you make one from brass. that what it would have had originally.

Turns out that just like 90% of ignition problems are fuel related, 90% of fuel problems are ignition-related. Wico mag is not consistently throwing its spark. Put a new rotor, cap, points, condensor in it last year but it's not reliable. I have a new coil so I'll swap that in to see if it makes a difference. Can't tune the fuel if the spark's no good.

something to remember and ive posted about it before. mags need good clean contact to work properly.
clean up the faces and dress with a smooth file if needed and give the faces the graphite pencil treatment.
