Hi, Folks.
Last I heard, Quinn Cat had a 'salvaged parts' facility at Fresno, CA. - might be useful for some people with older machines.

PLaying with the D2 and a tumblebug www.facebook.com/reel/741038904463382 Question, are the tumblebugs a Fresno scraper? Modified? Or a different toy altogeather?

Hi, Nutlady.
None of your facebook links worked for me - "Video no longer available" - and I am not a member there either. You Tube seems to work pretty well for most video links here and there is now an actual ACMOC channel there which you can access from the grey line at the top of the page here.

Fresno scrapers and tumblebugs are two entirely different critters, not dissimilar in general appearance but the Fresno was entirely hand controlled while the tumblebug has a trip rope mechanism to control the actual bowl for loading and dumping and the bowl rotates within the skids..

Thank you. I have 3 fresno scrapers, and one mini one. And then the tumblebug. I try to rescue anything before it gets scrapped.

Hi, Nutlady.
You need to be danged careful with THAT 'atti-tood', Lady. You could finish up with NO place left to farm and playing the Hell's Angels trick of rebuilding motorcycles - or machines - in the lounge room.

They had an auction across the puddle to the North-east of you a couple of weeks ago where they auctioned off - WAIT FOR IT - 230 lots - old machines in varying conditions and LOTTTTZA pallets of parts. See what CAN happen = if'n yer not careful.
