Do not quote me, but I think the linkages for the D6 carb are the opposite of that on D2/D4? I would like to see in person a JD diesel with the pony, really neat stuff. I wonder if they were temperamental as some on the CATs? Lucky for me, never had to buy a carb kit here for any of mine.

I have to say, I have worked on both. John Deere and Cat. Trouble is, been there, done that, can't remember???

When you look at both the cat and the deer Carey's they look the same the only difference is the the levers to operate the butterflies are on the opposite sides of the carry
