Hi, deereskinner.
Nice catch. I like the 'Jesus boots' and the 'aftermarket' steering clutch boosters but I worry about that elevated air intake being able to get enough air from the rarified upper atmosphere that it is drawing from. The seat is a definite bonus.
Thanks for sharing.
You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.

Or so you could stand up when going across the field and still be able to reach the levers to steer a little.

doesn't she know oldmachineryitis is a incurable disease! the only treatment is to surround the afflicted with all forms of old machinery particularly items of their particular focus.
and i have it real bad as also have oldcaritis and modelrailitis as-well.

In the last issue of ACMOC magazine, if you read the Chapter 14 report about David Morgans annual plowing bee and his passing, this was from his collection. He purchased it from his next door neighbors widow several years ago and drove it home. I bought it from Allan Morgan, Davids son. Just to clarify, David and John were brothers. So many years of making memories and the end of an era. So I am so proud to now own one of David Morgans Cats. About the truck, we got it from the original owner with a farm lease and I have the build sheet for it, ordered in 1968 from Dorsey Chevrolet in Tekoa Washington, It has some upgrade options you dont see on most C50's including the big block 366, 5x2 speed trans, and factory A/C which I was told was wifes request if she was going to drive it.

I was told the original owner was a tall man, just wanted to mention that after the comments on the clutch lever extensions. Did you all look closely at the photo of the rear on the custom raised seat extension. I sure it was local milled Inland northwest Red fir doubled up 2x4's so we could sit up straight and not be on the squatty potty!

Hmmmm, you actually purchased a tractor that you did NOT drive home! You were fortunate enough to have access to an equipment ramp? You are on a roll!
Congrats on another fine specimen. One day I might get lucky and find myself a "gem". JM

I did notice the seat risers and thought the same thing, must of been a tall guy that was on it and made some changes for comfort.

Truck and tractor make nice pare. Took me back to the early 1960's. A number of guys hauled a D 4 ( or similar size of other colors) tractor to farm in more than one location. Then 100 horse power wheel tractors start showing up.
