You can see our Farm from Rt. 22 We are to the East behind the old GMC Garage. The Farm house and buildings are where Weed Mine Rd. And Valley View Rd. meet.

use tow vehicle or a jack to raise blade and then chain it up? maybe easier than removing.

Got the old D6 home here on Sunday. Here's some video of it running and steering the day before. We removed the blade so we could move it without a permit.

Hi, Dandy Dave.
Good stuff. Thanks for sharing. I LIKE the electric 'commensatator' on the pony motor.

Just my 0.02.

You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.

I could acquire a 35 ton Rodgers Detachable drop deck low boy trailer that will need a restoration not far from where the D6 came from. Thinking on it. But then I would need a vintage road tractor to pull it. I do have license enough to run with a rig. My old Buddy Jake would be in 7th Heaven if he were still here. He always wanted a Rodgers lowboy.

Yup, No rope pulling there. I had the starter off of the machine and another that I picked up from a buddy. Between the two I managed to get one good one together. Good thing because it took a good and strong starter to get the rust off of the pony valves and get everything loosened up enough to get it running strong enough to spin the diesel.
