My D2 pull the disk in the second picture as is, the first picture with the TD6 is the 10’ disk I’ll need the D4 for.

for fire breaks we used a 6ft 3pl back blade on the back of the ford and a set of drag pasture harrows behind that. the idea was just to remove the surface vegetation to bare dirt. a couple of passes gave a nice fire break. of course we had a much wider area slashed and the tree line in further than that.

Thanks for the idea, I would need to get our ford running. Here’s one of my D2 pulling the 7’ offset

even just keeping it slashed and no tall vegetation within 30metres of buildings helps if it does catch fire its easier to control. and hazard reduction burns. by removing fire almost completely from the environment we have created our own disasters.
