Doosan purchased Bobcat in 2007. One of the most noticeable changes was the dropping of Kubota engines in favor of their own Doosan brand. I know there was quite a bit of concern when that happened as Kubota diesels were always very well liked. Many at the time including myself had never even heard of Doosan so there was worry about reliability.

I have now owned a couple machines with newer Doosan engines and they seem to run as well as the old Kubota's.

example: 2009 Bobcat, 500 hours, had to replace hand switch controls on both sides, Left and Right, $2000.00 a side...all this machine has ever done is push snow..brutal

always dropping GOLD, all you have to do is just pick it UP !
