Having done it the way we did, and knowing how long it took (half a day each with the welder taking his time and checking everything 3 times), I'd do it that way again. Not to say that the cups isn't a good alternative but I do like the idea of all new-teeth with the expected hardening etc.

Still trying to figure out what I’m going to do, I may leave the sprockets on with these slightly used track chains I have off a donner unit? Couple things, my link number is 6B4646, any one know what the pitch is supposed to be? Next I wonder just how worn my sprockets are, I know there’s a tool to show what the cup size is supposed to be, can I get a print of that? Vic
