yes a drag implement would be a pain in the arse if you had to hitch and unhitch all the time. and its probably part of why mounted rippers were developed. ease of use and changing implements is why harry ferguesson developed the three point linkage thats ubiquitous to day it also meant you didnt need a extra bloke to work the implement.yet may large implements are still drawbar pulled.

early tractors really were just a mechanical horse. a side story: the tractor historian Ian M Johnston tells of a lanz buldog that was shot by its owner cuase it broke down! Ian was a field rep for lanz australia. reportedly elvis shot one his cars for breaking down too.

so keloz it has a support that goes forward to the where the drawbar pulled from?

Hi, Folks.
The Cat 941 and 951 track loaders also that brace to the drawbar pull point under the machine - complete with shims where the brace bolted to the ripper frame to make sure that there was tension on the drawbar pull point.

yes the flat piece of plate that bolts to the back off the case extends below the case a plate goes off that to the drawbar pin like dees says under tension
