I only collect 1/16, so models in that scale would be of interest. It would be nice to see something a little bigger than the D2s released, preferably by Speccast or Norscot so the pricing is not prohibitive.

Unfortunately, in the 1/16th scale, the bigger CATS will get pretty huge; which is why all the big Mining Trucks, Big Loaders, are ALWAYS 1/50th...hopefully they will do a 10, 15, , which would not be very big...:D

I still would like to see a 650 or 660 scraper. How much size difference is there between the 660 bowl and that of the 491? Maybe we are half way there with only the tractor to be built and if the tooling for the 491 scraper could be used it could save some start up cost. A D9 with a inside push blade would look good behind the 660. Maybe a D9 with a 'U' blade but I 'am getting a little tired of the D9's. I would buy the last two I spoke of but its time for something else.

I like the idea of keeping the same scale of 1/25. I also garden railroad in G scale and 1/25 works well with my other hobby. I would like to see an early grader.

I wouldn't expect the mining trucks, but a D7 or 9 would sure look imposing next to my IH, Oliver, John Deere and AC crawlers. Huge is GOOD! :)

FYI, Norscot is doing a model of the Huge 797F early next year in 1/50th, which is huge in itself,,,cost about $250,,,weights ALOT,,previously NZG in
Germany did one, and they have sold for $1000 at times, and cost about $300 when issued about 6 years ago,,,should be a nice model; but alike all, done in China..

In fact, a 797 and a 797B sold at auction here in Central Illinois last summer. I don't remember the exact price, but it was just over $1000 each. These NZG trucks are realatively scarce since the production quantities were low.
The Norscot model probably will not reach that level of value because Norscot will produce them in large quantities. That's how they make their money on them. But it isn't conducive to appreciation in value.
