Cute as a button. Awesome looking. Kinda like a Swiss Army Scraper, its got the old style bottle openers. 🤔 wonder if it has a corkscrew ? Real horse hair seat with Fine Corinthian Leather.🤦

Ray: I was supposed to have purchased a Clark Airborne, but seller could never make her mind up. I believe a nice member from Temecula, CA owns it now. None of my own pictures to share. I won't be able to drop it out of plane at SM now. I will keep searching for the ultimate toy. JM

Hi, Fat Dan.
I reckon if I'd been a grunt in the seabees in WW2 faced with building an airfield with an axe, a pick and a shovel on a Pacific island, I'da bin REAL happy to see wunna them fall out of the sky onna cuppla parachutes, horsehair-n-Corinthian leather seat or not.

A dozen would a bin manna from heaven.

Hay those are much clearer pictures than what I found. Did not see the "tooth" to loosen the dirt to hopefully make loading easier. In fact the blade was off as engine had been removed. Just happy the remember er was more or less working and it was somewhat close.

What good idea to see if the air force at the SM ranch could parashot a Clark dozer in to the show.

Hi, Ray54..
It would need a plane with a rear access door, something like a C130 - or maybe a CV22 tiltrotor, so that it could be pushed out, or pulled out by a deployed parachute.

Would be interesting to see though, IF it could be arranged. We'd need to find a machine, convince the owner that it would be taken good care of and find a plane to drop it from a great height. Any ideas??????????????

I had a diabolical plan to hire a local firefighting helicopter to attach a sea container to the belly and soft land and exit with one of my D-2s and scraper. Unfortunately, way out of my budget for the delight of the spectators. Siskorsky sky cranes that they normally used for logging. The hourly rate is astronomical. JM

Hi, Juiceman.
Put it to them as a publicity stunt for the owners of the helicopter to get more busy-ness for their bird.

They could do demo lifts during the show and take people for rides and maybe shoot a publicity video of the whole thing. Heck, Calfire might even want to get in on the act.
