Another Pear Fair for the books! 2022 was welcomed by many people, attendance was very good, and much media coverage from several local television stations may have helped boost this local tradition.
We spent an entire day putting things away from this event, and the lines ran off the hook; I will try to say my show season is officially over with for this year.
As usual, I only managed to take a couple of photos, but new member Brett A’s pretty wife Carol made some rounds along with Haley and their smart phones which I am sharing.
We set up our display at the entrance, so it was like shooting fish in a barrel so to speak. I had a great time listening to folks reminiscing about their days on crawler tractors, was offered some free iron and made some new customers as well. Returning member Don Hays got to take the day off from his job as the local drawbridge tender. There was plenty of activity, but many of us opted to just hang out by the display and “relax”
I put out some old magazines and the club pamphlets, and observed many browsing them; folks were unaware of ACMOC or many of the shows we attend, so it was nice to share and invite them to join in.
My apologies for the ramblings; I am in the middle of a pear orchard composing this.

Tomtrack44, I believe you have some fairs coming up in your area, so please keep the camera charged up and don't forget to take some photos for some of us that cannot go and enjoy. Share the joy! Lol. JM
