Rome saw a full moon in broad daylight? Yikes, some visions similar make me want to gouge my eyes out. LOL. What? No "Tramp Stamp" tattoo on her backside?

Looks like this thread went a bit off track -

Time is approaching rapidly --- any word on the festivities or the "kitties" that may be present?
What's on the trailer Mr. Juiceman?

Maybe a D2 tailseat with the drawbar pinned to a hay wagon?

Off track...pun intended? LOL. Thanks for bumping this thread up CTS. Heck if I know what to bring, it is like what should I wear to dinner or the party...??? I am HOPING our newest and most admired member Brett A. will be able to bring one of his lowbed trucks and perhaps his drool worthy D8 to ogle? Everyone is welcome to show off a tractor... Scary to think we have not hauled a load of pears from the river for packing yet, but this "fair" is a priority. The small town of Courtland and its surrounding towns of Freeport, Locke, Walnut Grove and Isleton and their schools, fire departments and college bound kids depend on this for a small amount of revenue that helps considerably. If you knew how many rescues the fire department performs each year, it would boggle your minds; the schools get some $ to help their kids learn as well as keep them on the straight and narrow; the scholarships provided have helped aspiring young adults get to the colleges they seek higher learning from, and have proven great results! Nothing better than community spirit.
We still have some iron loaded and chained down from the Patrick Ranch show; maybe bring that load and something shiny...No live demonstrations, just bringing stuff for folks to look at and perhaps reflect on days past? It is also nice to be able to sign up a new member or remind some former ones that they are missed.
Deas? Where are you? I have you volunteered for the "dunking booth". I have tickets sold, and do not worry, the local fire department has several cute uniformed gals standing by in case you do not come back up for air...Hey, maybe at Santa Margarita we can have a "dunking booth" and all of the directors can help raise $ by getting WET. Hah! JM

"Down Under" - well that would be a fitting expression for Deas in the dunk tank.

Deas --- "Yeet Mate" ? Is that the correct terminology to reply to JM? Looks more like you have been SHANGHAIED if not volunteered.

With tickets sold, and your "colorful" attire, this will be a sell out - Might even have to have extra vendors show up to supply the goodies.

JM - you did not suggest the going "donation" for the opportunity to participate in this event.

CTS: I think they only ask for parking fees for the big lot behind the Bates School, and whatever one chooses to spend that day it’s up to the individual. I gladly pay $$$ to see if Deas really floats or swims, I think he claimed he was a scuba diver, but can hold his breath underwater for great lengths. *** Please do not park at my satellite yard next door*** some go to great lengths to deprive 🍐 fair folks of the parking donation, plus we cannot get big trucks and farm equipment in/out…
Neil: he has a fully restored 14A which he saved from the berry bushes; took him 7 years to bring it back to its glory. He could have made $$$ selling drool towels and bibs at SM. Most that saw me never said hello, rather the first thing was that I needed to check out his D8!!!

Hi, Juiceman.
I'm gonna 'volunteer' CTS for the dunk tank as I won't be able to make it to the show - got too much happening here with building a tractor pull venue to help raise funds for local schools. lotsa 'landscaping' with a certain 53 ton 'trowel' and other toys, getting the pull track levelled and graded and packed, making benches for bleachers and K-rails, creating level areas for vendors. etc. and arranging wheelchair compliant access to the various viewing areas and the vendors area.

Then there are the return roads for the tractors after their pulls and the marshalling area to get 'em all sorted out for their next events. And all of this 'squished' in between the Eastern reservoir and the creek to the West of said reservoir.

It'll keep me amused for a little while.

Try to have fun without me anyway. And post photos of CTS going under for the third time - - - - or any time.

Just my 0.02.

You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.

Pear harvest is in full swing! Within two weeks the majority of the river pear pick will be completed, and time to relax at the Pear Fair on 7-31-22 (Sunday). I am putting this out again in case someone needs a reminder...***please let me know if anyone else wishes to bring a tractor for the Chapter 15 display***

Attendees need not worry of being elected to a chapter position or Shanghai'd into make believe pearl diving in the dunk tank...Just plan on having an enjoyable day!

Looks like some of us will have a few low bed trucks there with an array of tracklayers. We won't discriminate regarding brands of paint that some wished to bring, the more the merrier. I might have to bring some different brands just to compare the superiority of a Caterpillar tractor, LOL.

Hope to see several of you there. JM
