Deas, that is a very interesting website, one of those that you go to and finally leave several hours later having saved it to your favourites!
Yes weight is important as is the contact area with the ground, that’s why reducing tyre pressure works well as it gives more contact with the ground providing you don’t overdo it an have the tyre spin on the rim.
I think we are at risk of “hijacking” this thread so I’d better leave it there.

Jim, Who is he guy in bibs & white hat? That's your spring fling 2006.
Mike,
I'm drawing a blank but should know who that is. Seems like he was a friend of KS-CAT. I can't even remember my wife's boyfriends name!!

Hi, trainzkid88.
Yep, that is what Big Lizzie was built for - - - and did VERY little of it 'coz they couldn't get her across the Murray River to where she was supposed to do it. Apparently, she found another role doing a fair bit of clearing around the Red Cliffs area.
Just my 0.02.
You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.

Hi, gauntjoh.
I have known about that site for at least 12 years, maybe more. It has been a good source of information and history ever since I have known of it.
