if you had a canopy i would simply chain the blade up. you can put the control into float position and then only the weight of the blade is a issue.
if your set on pushing it around push from the front against the blade with a few truck tires in between as a cushion A. it protects the other machine and B. it puts a little give in the equation

Don't push it, bend rod or worse.
Remove exaust manafold. Intake too if possible pry and hold down intake valve opposite open ex valve,Blow with shop vac.. See if anything comes out. Rock intake to loosen crap . Report back
