OK now it becomes plain. There is another member that is in Hancock, I cant think of his handle right now I'm north of Springfield.

There's a great video of someone starting a D379 (they called it a D397 - I don't know if that's a spelling mistake or is a different engine - in any case the one on the web is a V12) using a D2 and belt pulley to a flat belt pulley on the crank of the D379. That's some pony motor : ) and it makes it work too when they enable compression

The motor block parts number is 6l2533 and it is v8 cylinders and he should be in contener for CHINA soon last saterday metal price $335.00 tons

Got the deal done and a handshake! They will load , I am OK there. Gen serial #, 2754 no other id such as 8S etc. Gen part # 6F1956. Serial # 6805674. Pony and main stuck. I have no further info . Maybe someone can investigate those gen numbers. Will have more photos when I get it home and safe.from the general population!

I did get a close look at the sn. Not 2754 but 2V54.  Common mistake.

AND did get the big engine to turn! Not far about 3-4 in on the flywheel, so I think that may be OK.  Pony motor is still a lump.
