I have recently found a D17000 genset.  Approx. 1947 by date code also has military OD paint underneath, 427 ?hrs. ?
Any idea on the weight and parts availability? I know these are some what an oddball  Anything else  using the heads jugs? Common parts?

Thanks, Herb

Hi Herb,
sales sheet may help.
From memory only I think they use standard 5 3/4" liners and pistons and maybe valves--a Parts Book parts comparison check would need to be done to be sure though.
Cheers,
Eddie B.

Wow that's great Herb. I'm looking forward to seeing it if I can ever get myself over your way (or is this on Lon Gisland?)
Electric start pony too - is that an option? Looks original

Hi Neil, It is still sitting in the scrap yard. I made an offer. You are entirely welcome to inspect when it is in my dooryard.
Lon Gisland?

Ah my addled brain is mixing things up. I thought you also had a place on LI but I'm mixing you up with Dan from Hancock.
Anyway, the Lon Gisland is how I was told the locals pronounce it : )__PRESENT__PRESENT
