Bad rods and wiper seals let dirt into the oil and will destroy the pump fast. It will also score the cylinder head and tube.

We have parts cataogs for the 46 Hydraulic unit and the 6A and 6S blades in the library.

I have a 9u with the 46 unit and it won't lift the blade. Did you ever find the manual for the hydraulic system?

We need more information, unless we start as if your are off one the UFO shot down lately. With do you know if there is oil in the tank? But guessing you know that. So it has it been get worse for years? Or you bought it yesterday?

To access the library, one has to be an ACMOC member. Cost for membership is $44 per year for an electronic membership or $60 (USA) to get the print magazine quarterly. Memberships are sold in the Store.
