I thought I had a Marysville tractor yardstick in my great grandfather’s stuff, but I found this one from Weaver Tractor.

Hi Cat Twenty Five, your caption on the photo of Yancey Brothers Co. dealership states 1926 but the side of the building says "Caterpillar Diesel Tractors..." Cat diesels were introduced in 1931. The car in the photo looks like a 1940s model.
Yes, I'm just following the discussion page tradition of leaving no nit unpicked! lol!
Thanks for posting the nice photo.

The Marysville Tractor Co. building still exists. It became an IH dealership, and currently Hust Bros. "The store with a million parts", which stocks some pretty old NOS items still. They had a Caterpillar parts division (used and some new) at one time. One stop shop for parts, machine work, welding supplies, drive lines and lord knows what else. If they say they need to get an item out of the warehouse, it is fun to follow the parts person if they let you. It can take quite some time to get to! Talk about a LOT of parts.
I like toolbar tractors and collecting bits and pieces to "outfit" my D2s, 4s and 6s. I have yet to come across a JD Lindemann/ Killefer unit. Very cool. JM
