I'm for a D9G with a "C" dozer and push cushion on rear. More of them sold than any other I believe. Or maybe a D9 with a push'n cushion on the front! 2U or 13A would also be nice with an flat bottom 80! Just a thought boys.

Mark, Although it won't be the next model, the committee is considering a D9G. The details of the cab, blade, and other attachments still need to be worked out.
Art, Again, the push blade won't be on the next model, but we are considering a future model with a push blade. The committee still has some details to work out on this one as well.
Thank you both for your thoughts.

Lee

Hi Quad,
I wondered how long it would be before someone brought up the DD9.
Do you think our members are up to the price of a DD9?
It would be a significantly higher price than any of the current First Gear Models, considering it takes two models and would require tooling the connecting link.

Here a pic from my 1: 50 scale quad , can you imagination this in 1: 25?
When the model is good the collectors will find a way to get the money for it.

Hey, when there will be a DD9, then it's just a little step to a nice 657, or? LOL Time to sell my TV set, I guess (money&space).
As chugwater mentionend, a D9G with blade and ripper would be fine. I vote for a 66A with a full U blade and a Kelley single shank ripper.
QuAD, big applause for your scratch-built push plate. I like that you posted images of it before being painted, so we can see ho you made it. With a coat of yellow paint, it sure will look awsome!

Are there any plans for a larger cat in 1/16, preferably from SpecCast? Something that isn't going to cost hundreds of dollars either...

As chugwater said his idea is exactly as i would like a D9G, Semi U, Rops and Hyd rippers , that would be the setup on 90% of D9G's in Australia.
