Very neat looking set up for a using what was about. I was thinking we could name it a DW 1 but it may be more a DW 2 as you could us a D2 engine and have a lesser size unit so lower numbered. Or have the experts all agreed this is a D4 engine.
From past endeavors if we could gethttp://www.acmoc.org/bb/images/smilies/new/hail.gif 7up puller started it could happen.
Just for Deas I put my incompetence out for all again, the emogee only transfers as code.
Oh Glen if you build one looks like a little more room to get my clumsy hand in to wind the rope. The rope in picture dose look custom made in it is longer than standard I think.

That's a early D4400 engine for sure, the shape and type of the fuel filter housing, governor, and the clamp down injectors give it away.

I agree with Sasquatch! The first thing I noticed after it was posted as a D4 was the fuel filters. Definitely a great looking job! Would like to know how the clutch assembly went together?

Didn't have a camera along when my son and I stopped and looked at a D4 that had a 1960s Cadillac V8 and automatic transmission ahead of the regular transmission. Engine was probably not governed, so would have been ticklish to doze with, but it did have a blade. Sorry for no pix.
Must have been a Cadipillar.
