Tractor was sitting idle for about 30 years. Did the rescue a little over a year ago. Pony was shot, did a complete rebuild on pony, put in new master clutch, and new pinion clutch. Love pony motor machines. Hate to see one that has been butchered with pony removed. Serial# 9U26862.

Very sharp machine! I always wanted a dozer with a towing winch on the back.
Maybe one day I will get my little D2 going, it has a winch on it. Closest I have come with 9U's is one with a double drum CCU and a dozer. Had one a long time ago with a winch but no dozer and the rest have had dozers but no towing winch.
D2-5J's, D6-9U's, D318 and D333 power units, 12E-99E grader, 922B & 944A wheel loaders, D330C generator set, DW20 water tanker and a bunch of Jersey cows to take care of in my spare time:D

Great job, what a nice Cat!
I'm with you re the starting engine Doug. Why have an old machine that successfully was started 100's of times with that beautiful process of a starting engine then wreck it with Direct Elec.
