I know ACMOC is .org, and was wondering if ACME is supposed to be .org. My shortcut brings up the hijack, too.

Joe, it seems that every 12-14-20XX, the hosting company starts acting up again. Anniversary date, and another re-direct from the ACME site. I hope you get to spread some Christmas cheer towards them.

Thanks guys, seems like I'm still having issues with the first company I tried to host with several years ago not completely transferring the .net domain as they were supposed to... twice! Hope to get someone somewhere to "flick the switch" soon. Everything on the site is fine, just gotta get the domain linked back to it.

I am having the same access problem to the ACME BB, as Dieseldave and the others .. and getting the "Domain name available" message. I've also had numerous emails from other users that cannot access the site.

I informed Joe, and he tells me that from preliminary feedback, that .. and I quote .. "transfer of the domain from the previous 'poor to perform' host wasn’t completed properly after the last fiasco with them. Basically the site is intact, just an issue with ownership/rights on the .net domain .. "

It appears Joe is on their case, and will get it sorted out, as soon as he gets onto the available customer service people in the company.

The ACME site is back up, and running 100%, as of this morning, U.S. time.

Remember that back in October this site was shut down for a week or so, and I think it was the same kind of problem. These computers don't always seem to work the way they are supposed to do. GWH

I just tried it and it,s back on again ok here.

Yes its all ok for me here in the UK now. All working fine tonight. Well done Joe.
