I don,t know if the info is in it that you want but the archives is listed when you bring up the first front page when you type in the www.acmoc.org and it,s the bottom left little box there so bring it up & info. of interest is there.

The only way I know is if you know the persons handle you go to memebr list above the find him and bring up all his posts and go thru them till you find the post you are looking for and hopefully he wont have as many post as SJ or OM to go thru LOL.
And for the money we paid to have this sight done it was supose to have all the bells and whistles, but as soon as what littlebit we got was up and running the rest just went away kinda like the money was voted to have it done. because what we have here can be done anyplace for about $250 setup, $15 per month internet provider and $30 per yr for domaine name. Thats why the real "ANTIQUE" Cat guys use Smokestak

Just click the 'search' and there will be an 'advanced' feature. Select that, then type the users name(handle) in the upper R box, and you will find all their posts..

Here's link to edb's posts..

You can reclaim the posts but if there were scans or pictures posted they will probably be gone.......due to the administrators imposed limit on picture posting file size. Once you hit the limit you have to dump the images posted in order to add more......effectively making the archives a function of the poster.

I think the archives links on the acmoc.org page are dead. I never could get them to work.

No one has yet to submit anything for archiving, so nothing is there as of yet. Once we get something, there it'll be.

Joe,
There's a little more to it than just waiting for cards and letters to come in:rolleyes:
How about some information????
How do you plan to organize it?
How will we access it?
What are the limitations?
Who will administer it?
Will the administrator know anything about the material?

Previous attempts have not shown that there is a sincere dedication (or knowledge) on the part of ACMOC to support such an effort.
I don't see any sign to indicate that has changed.

My experience has been that ACMOC is far to eager to have someone do the work for them but that is not likely to happen until there is a considerable change and effort put forth by an administrator of such a project.

I have also noted that the repeat users of The BB that post has pretty much stabilized and maybe even decreased. Need to do something with this BB to make it more attractive.

We've posted a general announcement here on the forum that's been available for all to see: www.acmoc.org/ACMOC_BB/announcement.php?f=4

I will be administering the archive section along with my other responsibilities here on the web site. Organization will be flexible to adjust with the submitted material as the section grows. You had some great ideas while involved with the project before backing out, so much of that format will continue as it was good input. With the information in Adobe PDF format it should be simple and easy for all to view and access as needed. I can convert a wide variety of electronic materials to PDF and those submitted physically, such as brochures or spec-sheets, can be scanned into PDF format as well.

The sincerity, knowledge and dedication has been here we just need some submissions to make it happen. ;)
