Interesting enough, my TEN, small FIFTEEN and HC tractor attachment book shows both the Guide 7" and the Do-Ray 8" as options. Both have the knob on the back. They show a third style but do not mention a manufacture, only a part number. (no knob on back and special mount bracket).

The second series of this type has a stamped rear section but is almost identical as the late 30s type . also stone screen is optional and this light is also found on IH tractors but the the IH will have a different mount . Most cats from the mid 30s to the 40s will have this type .

The mid 20s to early 30s cat/best tractors commonly have this style light . Gas/diesel 65 optioned these lights as radiator mount but most 30-60 had them mounted on the fender . I assume 10s ,15s and 20s would also run these lights in the late 20s but the mount for the light will be different . please add info if you have it .

The later style 40s and 50s cats will run this small guide light . Most I have are sealed beam type but may have been modified . I assume maybe a late R-2 may run this light but I have only seen this style on diesel cats . Most have the stone guard but I have found some without .

I have found some replacement lenses for 2 of the lights for the 5 ton , I think they are an Oliver part number but are the same .One of the lights had a clear and curved guide driving lens .I almost have all the parts for 3 lights , just need to find the lower mount for the yellow one and ill disassemble all 3 lights , paint , and install them on the cat . thanks for the help !
