According to my drawings,
Bushing-1.369-1.367''OD .883-.885''ID X 3.25''long
Pin- .873-.877''OD X 5-3/8'' long
Master pin- .870-.871''OD X 6-1/16'' long
Track Link- 1.357-1.361''ID & .866-.870''ID 5.75''centers X 2-5/8'' high
I had a set of JD pins&bushings done before with no problem probably should press with white lead or some other high pressure lube.

That gives you a 0.010 - 0.012 range of press fit which is still pretty tight but probably doable. Lube would be recommended.

Thanks., No I'm not sure I got the numbers right. I was driving down the road while talking to the shop. I'll print this and take it to the shop Monday. I think we'll try it and see. Thanks again... Mark

carlsharp, its not that. It is actually coincidence that JD MC pins and bushings are close to the original Cat TEN parts. Why machine new ones when you can get something off the shelf?

I picked up the tracks from the shop today. New pins and bushings, and all new bolts. The John Deere bushings fit the old Cat links just fine with no breakage of the links. ( much to the amazement of the shop guys!) They did break two of the new bushings pressing them in. I guess the steel in the old Cat links is better than the new steel in the bushings. Mark

I used the JD part numbers you have listed and they worked great. We did break one pin pressing it in so buy an extra. We did not break any of the links. The master pins work but you need to grind the ends of the link where the original master pins had small pins to hold them in on each side. Hope this calms your fear.
