Got a complete pump from Cat classic parts 4-5 years back would try there first.
Was going to cost heaps to get individual parts and rebuild mine.

I don't remember there being a seal on the end of crankshaft Cat used a spiral to push oil back into engine if I remember correctly.

Sounds like you need a whole used clutch assembly to me.
While it is out of the machine, check the 3/8" studs that the adjuster lock plates and nuts fit on. These are fairly commonly stripped out.
D2-5J's, D6-9U's, D318 and D333 power units, 12E-99E grader, 922B & 944A wheel loaders, D330C generator set, DW20 water tanker and a bunch of Jersey cows to take care of in my spare time:D

Thanks most of the clutch is pretty solid, the threads are fine, got a used oil pump on order, some plates, the rest looks pretty good after a closer inspection.
We are in Edmonton, but the D6 is in Edson, Alberta
