Willie:

Glad you and Jackie had a good time and made it home safely. Some of my earliest memories are of the Holt 75 and 45, Cat 60 and 1910 Gas Traction Big 4 30 rumbling down the main drag in Paso Robles. I am glad that I could be born and work in such a great town and have such a great group of locals and out of towners who share such a common interest in old iron.

The neatest part of the collection is that fact that it all runs well and gets used every year and it is not a static collection.

My hat goes off to Steve Hansen and his 3 sons and the rest of the crew who keep these tractors operational year after year.

As the plan unfolds for the "Best Show on Tracks" in June next year in Woodland, CA, all of the tractors you see in this thread are going to be in Woodland. If there are truckers in and around Central and Southern California who can haul any of these tractors north for the show, help is needed. We have a number of trucks lined up and need more.

I know that both Holt 75's, the Holt 45 the Cat 60, The Gas Traction, the 1917 Experimental Holt, the Sideseat 22, the Holt 5 Ton (not pictured), the Holt 30 from Lockwood (not pictured), the 1908 Johnson (we believe the oldest orchard tractor in the world built in San Jose, not pictured), Carson Wiley's Best 40, Best 25 and transition Cat 60 plus many others will be trucked from Paso Robles and the surrounding areas to Woodland next year. If you have not gotten your room reservations yet do so. Go to www.aghistory.org and hit the 2008 show link for a list of local hotels. We will have approximately 2-300 sites for dry RV parking for the show on the Best Ranch that will be available on a first come first served basis once paid starting in January or there abouts.

Hey Kelly, are you in Mesa County? Or how did you know I'm in Mesa Co. (Fruita)?
