So what is everyone doing for decals now that Acmoc no longer offers the dorrect original Decals for your restorations? Ive been trying for several years to get some correct ones from the club and to no avail. Before I go get the copied off my D4 7U i redid years ago or my original D2 4U I thought id ask
Hi, Yoos Bros.
You might try getting in touch with Glen Slocombe at ACMOC Chapter 19 in Victoria, DowNunda, Australia. I don't know if they are doing decals but they are doing a bit of 'stuff'. Glen's contact info can be found here:

Just my 0.02.
You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.
Hi Yoos Bros,
Decals are still a work in progress for the Club. We’re in contact with the original supplier, who holds all the files and are trying to come up with a plan to facilitate members access to them.. watch this space!
I will be surprised to see true decalcomanias ever offered. Everyone seems to be satisfied with those vinyl stickers. A good reason to preserve original remnants on a restoration.
This may help--from inside rear page of the ACMOC Magazine.
Cheers,
Eddie B.
Eddie , i went to their website. This was what was there .
OEM type replacement decal sets for a wide range of construction, ag, forestry, and industrial equipment spanning a 70-year period.
Way i read it ,they don't cater for pre 1956 decal sets .
Why wont the club just makes the files available on the forum like the technical library? We can then use our own printing shops which are all over the nation. Seems like this decal thing has gone on for way too many years, its not really that complicated.

Having access to the files would be great, as Alex says, take them to your preferred print shop or do your own on available water slide decal paper and have the same as the original decals on the older machines.
The files do not belong to ACMOC, the business that owns them has been approached, the BoD is waiting for them to come back with how much they want to sell the files to ACMOC.

Unfortunately also due to the fact that the Club has a trademark licensing agreement to use the Caterpillar name it may be that we couldn’t just post the file in the Library for members to print at home as Caterpillar is very strict about using approved printers for their products. All part of the complicated process of getting decals available again.. it is a priority for the Board to try and find the right solution.
I just spoke with "Colleen" @ Quipcal. She was very helpful and stated that, at least in my case with a '49 5U, decals, correct for that period, are available. Good to know when I get to that point.
