Gilson Riecke was created by Chapter 3
Here is a link to a sales brochure from around 2002 from scale model builder Gilson Riecke of Iowa. He designed and built several very detailed and heavy Caterpillar models for about 15 years from 1995 to 2010. Gilson passed away in 2018. His models are prized by collectors for their quality.

I have the 7U series D4 that Gilson made. What a great addition it made to my collection.

I met the gentleman many years ago, and at one time I had four of his models, the D4 with blade, a IH TD-9, a New Holland Model 77 hay baler, and a John Deere "G"
I was never able to find one of his Caterpillar D6 tractors

The entry by Ertl with their Precision line of highly detailed models probably did nothing to help either Mr. Riecke, or Mr. Weber market for their sales.
