I wanted to put the reminder out, that CAFES (April 11-13, 2025) Tulare, California is still a go. Being a highly anticipated event in the Spring here in the states, a good place to get some fresh air, sunshine and LOTS OF FUN.
This will be the first of many events that Chapter 15 either participates in or sponsors in California. There is no reason to stay and home, saying there isn't anything to do!
Per the request of the many, we will be in attendance this year. Not only in the live "Dig" area, but expecting a larger turnout for the displays.
Being the centennial of Caterpillar, we want to be part of the celebration as well. We will show our strength and put on a great show for the enjoyment of everyone.
I encourage everyone able to attend, please consider bringing something to share in the form of old iron...the more the merrier! There could be stiff competition from the off color brands wanting to showcase their "stuff", but lets face it, CATERPILLAR, BEST and HOLT rock! Let's show them what we are made of!
Let's not worry about how pretty, dirty or ugly your machine(s) might be; bring it on, as you have something to be proud of. Every machine has a story. Share yours!
We will have an assortment of iron in the dig this year; not just scraper combinations, but farm implements and some bulldozers to kick some dirt around with as well.
The static displays could be a lot of fun too, so don't be bashful, bring out your "pride and joy" .
Let's not forget the Saturday night steak BBQ... always fun! the social hour, the food and NO, JM is not dancing!
