Weight should be about 16,000, bare tractor is about 10,650 plus canopy, winch 1,225, blade assembly 2,800, hydraulic control 360, etc.

Josh,

Thanks for getting me those weights. I was worried the blade weighed more than I thought. My bobtail hooklift truck shouldn't take more than 14k lbs so I'll have to take a bigger trailer with me. But then at least i can bring a track steer to help with loading the D4.

Careful what you wish for. The D8 is in a tight spot and you’ll need a really good lowboy driver. The d8 is cool and from a picture I received it looks like it has a rear ripper bar. I will PM you the owner’s email.

I happen to have a 60 ton lowboy and have been in some tight spots. Sounds like an adventure.

I have no idea about the D8 and when it last ran. My brother and I were going to do some architectural salvage off it before the gas ax takes her apart. Check you PM box, I sent you the owner’s email.
