I hurt my back again and so have decided to sell all the big dozers!  One (D8-8R9605) is at my house in North Calif near Chico. The other two are up at the cabin eighteen miles away. One of the two (another 8R) will drive the few miles up and out of the very steep canyon to a place a low-boy could pick it up. The problem is, the D8 2U does not run and nothing is going to pull it up out of that deep/steep canyon. I would guess that I have not run that machine for at least 25yrs. A couple of weeks ago I went to the 2U and in less than an hour I had both main and pony motors turning freely by hand. The dozer was used to build the road I spent 25yrs dynomiting out of mostly pyroclastic mud flow (round rock). Back then I finished the road and never got around to getting the dozer out. In other words it was parked running. If somebody was willing to put in some time to get it running I would knock off a fair amount of the price. I do not want it to die there. This is way back in the woods on our property bordering the very Southern tip of the ISHI Wilderness. There is a U-TUBE video titled "Ishi Wilderness 2018" that shows (early in video) us driving down into that canyon.
