Not sure what variant D4 this goes on, definitely not a 7U, and I don't think it goes on a D2.  47" long and around 27" wide on the operator's side.  Very straight with no dings, just needs a blast and repaint.   Located in Hillsboro, OR.

Free to any ACMOC member, otherwise it is going to be $44 at which point I will purchase you a gift membership.

Looks right for an 88 yr old RD4, but dimensions are a wee bit small.
An RD4 hood should be 50" end to end, 27" across, your tape shows 47" and 26".
With a big enough hammer, that's almost close enough.

Got a free 1936 RD4 last fall here in NE Oregon.
"It ran when grandpa parked it" some 40 yrs ago.
Sat all that time out in a field without covers.
Thought I was getting it for parts, but of course I now want to get it running.
Learned a lot about snatch blocks and my Harbor Freight winch
getting it up on a trailer for the 50 mile ride home.

My educated guess says its for a J series D-2; the side curtain clips are underneath and three on each side. Front hole for the air cleaner, one hole for exhaust, and one for the oil filler for the pony. No second hole for gasoline, because the tank is behind the firewall. Hope someone puts it to good use, it looks like a nice one. JM

Yes, that is the correct measurements for the J model D2.
