Anyone looking for parts to a D-6 cat? I have pulled several Parts off a D-6.
2 pony motor carbs- $60 each
2 pony motor magnetos- $60 each
1 magneto from cat grader, Eiseman- $75
2 pony motor air breathers -$40 each
1 D-6 air breather- $75
2 pony motor fuel tanks- $40 each
gage assembly-$40
1 tool box- $40
4 Pony motor heads- $50 each
2 Valve covers- $30 each
Misc pieces- $10
Injection pump with governor- $500
Injection pump turns over.
Also just pulled the starter for the Pony Motor. I have not checked it yet to see if works. Probably shouldn't. My luck I would fry it. This is for parts only. $75

I am located in Emmett, Idaho.

I have a D6 project in Montana and need a complete magneto. Please provide the numbers on both the magnetos and the impulse couplings and I will buy whichever of the two you have you think are in the best shape. The magneto on the Cat I'm dealing with is the correct mag with the wrong coupling. It consistantly fires about 30 degrees before TDC, and is therefore impossible to start. The plan is to find a replacement and have it rebuilt before returning to the job in September.

Thanks,

Jeff

Sorry for the long delay. My camera was down and waited to get it fixed so I can send you pictures of the mag's. They look about the same condition. One is an older model than the other. Except one has a crack in the casing near the coupling. I sent one picture of the cracked one and one picture of the not cracked one. Hope this helps.

How does $100 for the pair of magnetos work for you? With a little luck, I could make one good one. Can you let me know what model of D6 the carburetors came off of? I am working on a D6 9U. A couple pictures might help of the carburetors. Do you have a Pay Pal account, or should I plan to send you a check? My email address is: This email address is being protected from spambots.
