$3,000 firm.  I’ll try to include everything I know about this dozer: Located near Macon, Ga it was a Ga Forestry auction dozer in the late 90’s/early 00’s and purchased by a friends father who died 6 years ago. It sat for roughly 10 years from the steering not working properly, his beloved father was as mechanically inclined as a left handed, blind monkey with a chainsaw , but we loved him!  Last month I started helping said friend clean up around his fathers farm and checked engine oil/coolant, flushed fuel tank/lines with fresh diesel and got it started (24V electric system). Radiator holds pressure, oil was not milky, and to my surprise it runs really well. An old head gasket was sitting on the track and the head bolts had chipped paint. This and the hood laying on the opposite track cause me to assume the gasket was changed and probably needs double checked for proper torque, (my friend thinks his father had someone do the work). The winch is a D4E, has 3/4” cable in poor shape, but everything worked like a champ i.e free spool, brake, fwd/reverse (although in my excitement I pushed forward too hard and the retaining nut broke for the fwd/reverse lever).  The winch pulled the dozed up the trailer ramps with ease.  I drove the dozer about 400yrds to load on the trailer although the steering definitely doesn’t work, the right foot brake works, the left brake pulses badly. When the slightest resistance is applied (pulling up trailer ramps for example), a gear grinding is heard, it sounds/feels like a gear isn’t completely engaging (?). Prior to moving across the field, I filled the final drive reservoirs with gear oil only to discover the driver’s left side was leaking out  quickly behind the drive wheel. I do not have time to part this machine out, it is for sale as a whole unit. However I would sell the winch/controls separately on the condition a potential buyer arranged pickup and shipping for the behemoth unit! Interested people (no robots or cloned individuals please, and cats…I definitely will never sell heavy equipment to a cat again) feel free to email or call:
