Hello I am in search of the double stacked shiv assembly for the PCU on my RD4. I recently acquired a model D carryall so would like to get the pair all set up. Pictures for reference.
thanks

I’ll check my LeTourneau boneyard. I have a several control units. I’ll have to educate myself and see if I have what you need. My 5T D4 has the same LaTourneau D behind it now, so I’m familiar. I’m out flying until Thursday, so I’ll check the boneyard then and get back to you.

Looks like I have about anything one might need to get an operable LeTourneau unit going. I have seven or eight mostly complete units. The green one is on my 5T D4 and operates quite nicely. Four are still mated to their parent tractor. I’m not well versed in the various LeTourneau PCU models, but they seem to be similar in size. And the shive blocks all appear similar in size. Various units are mounted on: D8 1H, D7, D6 4R, D6 5R, and at least five others outdoors on the ground or on pallets.
I’m located in California. If you can’t find anything in Canada, I could help.

I wonder if the sheave unit from my 3T D7 would work.
I am northwest of Akin about 1.5 hours. JM

As far as I have been able to learn the sheave assembly is the same on them all, so I’m certain it would. Are you at all interested in breaking the unit apart tho? Thanks
