blwatson Bruce - time will tell. While "ran when parked" this guy has been ignored.

1) the "buy if runs" is in part a concession to my long suffering wife of 50 years.

2) stored outside, the bucket over the exhaust stack blew or rusted off and besides condensation the internals were rained and snowed on. I've removed the valve covers and am considering removing the heads to clean so as not to risk breaking the "ran when parked" rings. Overkill?

3) the Pony Motor has been partially disassembled and full of water as part of an aborted attempt to add a semi-tractor starter (wrong rotation). "I think the carburetor and... is somewhere in the shed." I'm not sure many parts are missing or how it goes together.

4) I'm a newbie and fairly clueless...

Thank you! I well may ask for them in the future. Right now I'm working about 2 hours every two weeks to get the engine freed up (when my wife visits a family member). It may be spring before I know.
