Up for sale is a Caterpillar D7-9G dozer. Full s/n is 9G5927WSP. 

The machine is running/driving.  My dad and I bought it a few years ago hoping to have some fun with it and move some dirt around our farm. We really haven’t used it much and do not currently have room to put it inside.  It should go to someone who would utilize it or have more time to enjoy it. 

It does not have a starting engine.  Someone replaced it with an electrical starter before we bought it.    2 group 31 batteries will start it well and do it a few times when warm.  No charging system. 24volt starter. 

CCU works.  All rollers and idlers were free and greased up 2 years ago.  I had it running today (3/1/22) and all rollers are free. Does drool a lot out of the exhaust. I believe 1 injector isn’t giving a clean spray of fuel and 1 cylinder isn’t firing 100% of the time.   I took cylinder exhaust temp reading and took pictures for reference

A friend of ours built a new seat for it. I haven’t tried it out yet but assume it will fit well and looks OE style wise. Much better than the school bus seat that came with it.   The hillbilly shade can be removed or included free of charge!

Not sure what to ask for it. Will start at $4500

Wow.. appears to be a pretty nice tractor overall.... what about those track bushings?

Left bushings were welded on after wearing through.   You can sort of see it in the picture looking towards the upper rollers.  Right side is significantly better.  I can take better pictures if you’d like.

What is the value of this machine? Am I out of line at $4500? I’m asking just a bit more that we paid for it originally. But I haven’t seen any other comparable tractors lately.
