Looking for a set of main bearings st for a RD4 4G5514W also looking for the shims.

Hi neilske,

That is a very nice and straight RD4 with lights, belly guard.

The bearings used in these early machines a Babbitt lined with shims that could be removed one by one to adjust the clearance between the bearing and crank, if they fairly worn you could also have them rebabbited and then lined bored to suit the crank.
