Looking for a set of good clean pony motor fuel lines for a D-2. I need both lines please. Would prefer them to have good nuts that haven't been rounded off with pliers and only the factory bends. Thank you...

You can use brake line to make them, the ferrules and nuts are still available through Cat. Nut is 1A5911 Ferrule is 4F9109, early small fuel lines used 1A5910 ferrule which is discontinued from Cat.

Yes thanks, I actually have the nuts and ferrules that I purchased from Cat. I was just hoping to find a good set.

I just sent an email to Wally for the very same. Mine is 5U13753 and the tubes are 8F7462 and 8F7482 but I also need the bracket 8F7480 because the nut is jammed in there and I can't get it out
Cheers,

I'm not holding out much hope because I've not had a lot of luck sourcing used parts that are specific to this series range. Good to know that I can always make some using brake line. What OD is the brake line, and are the four nuts/ferrules all the same?
Cheers,

I actually tried to source them from Caterpillar which I assumed would be fruitless. They sent 2 pieces of semi straight copper tube, nuts and solder on ferrules.

Will you use those copper tubes or make up some steel tubes instead?
