Installing new Bevel gear and Pinion shaft on my D4D. Looking for the shaft adapter 7m7238 to reinstall steering clutches.  Rent, borrow, buy!!!!  I have a 30 ton hydraulic set up to remove and install coming to me now.

Hi, in case you can't find the adapter, you might be able to get your local machinist to make some up. I had some made for my D2 and they were just simple flanges, bars, and bushes that when stacked together on the pulling bolts, enabled me to both pull and push hubs etc. Cheap, easy, and usable for other purposes

Cheers,
