Here is a Hahn seat on my D7 3T just to give you an idea of what they look like. It should be the same for a 7M. Hahn makes very nice seats.

Thank you Seyser really nice seats. I have been working on my D7-7M 3498 since I bought it at auction. I talked to the previous owner and he said the only thing was it needed maybe 2 drive links. I immediately found that the throttle was broken. I took it apart to see what I needed to repair it; springs were broke. So I found a new one for $500. I removed the clutch instead of replacing the drive links because there was too much play in it. And was glad I did as the heavy plate that the links are attached to the bearing was destroyed along with the plate. Looking for parts has been a chore. I finally got all the parts to rebuild the clutch. In hindsight I should have spent $1500 for a complete rebuilt clutch. Now I am working on the pinion sleeve before installing the clutch. I have rebuilt a new pinion sleeve with new latches, spring, and new pinion gear. Now if it ever warms up, I will see if I can remove the old pinion sleeve that is missing a latch and replace the 2 springs and plunger. The undercarriage is like brand new and the pony along with the engine ran real strong. If I knew how much it was going to cost in time and labor; I would have passed. But I am glad I got the old girl. She is a 1941. If you email me at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
