Looking to buy a D8 2U, or 13a cable blade. Located in upsatate NY, preferably as close to the northeast as possible. The better shape the better!

Nathan, try Jeff Huff in Honeoye - Huff Equipment. He has a TON of old stuff, although most of it is parked in the "ran when parked" area...

Nothing at the museum after the auction that's true - are there no 2Us at his business yard? There's about everything else there that's for sure : )

Nathan, if you're interested, there's a 46A D8 in Livingston Manor. It has a semi-u blade and a ripper with a single shank and I think slots for three ripper shanks. It is in need of a new pony crank as some unknowledgeable person disconnected the governor and over-sped it is my guess. I told the vendor that the best he could get for it in this current state is maybe a bit over scrap price but from the looks of it, it all would work if it could be started. I wanted to take a crank down there and see if I could get the pony going enough to get the main started and then see what does and doesn't work on it to give the seller a better chance of selling it.

Cheers,
Neil
